Comentarios de Restaurante Don Pez - Managua

I convinced the group of 9 I was Travelling with to step off the beaten tourist path and go to Don Pez in Bello Horizonte, Managua. We were staying briefly in Managua and it was a very short ride from the airport hotels (10 min or so), even though the front desk staff seemingly had no knowledge of this little gem, they called us a cab and we were on our way. From the moment we stepped in to the restaurant, we knew we'd made the right choice. We were greated by a tantalizing aroma instantly, followed up by a kind, Spanish and English speaking waiter, bonus since most of us had little Spanish. He was so courteous, patient and took his time to ensure we were taken care of, all the staff did actually, our group was served by just about everyone working there that night, including a visit from the chef. The food was amazing. The ceviche was on special and was by far the best we had ever had! I enjoyed the surf and turf but there was so much food I couldn't finish it. The atmosphere was incredible, the people working there made us feel so comfortable, please visit this restaurant, you won't regret you did! Take cash to get the special, but credit cards accepted.
